Update: All beaches have since been cleared and reopened

On the heels of dangerous debris intentionally buried at a beach in Bracebridge, officials in Gravenhurst have also discovered nails broken glass after conducting sweeps of Gull Lake Park. The OPP and Town Officials are continuing to investigate and to determine if it is connected to a letter that was mailed to the Huntsville Forester which threatened the safety of beaches in the Muskoka area.

The GSLRA is continuing to work closely with the Town to ensure that the beach is safe for residents throughout the summer.
